Pitot-static System
The Pitot-static system is a pressure-based system used in aviation to determine an aircraft's airspeed, altitude, and vertical speed. The system consists of two parts: the Pitot tube and the static port. The Pitot tube is mounted on the aircraft's nose and measures the pressure of the air as it enters the tube. The static port is located on the side of the aircraft and measures the static pressure of the air. The difference between the two pressures is used to calculate the aircraft's airspeed.
