Pressure Regulation

Pressure Regulation refers to the process of maintaining a constant pressure within an aircraft's cabin during flight. This is achieved through the use of a cabin pressure control system, which regulates the flow of air into and out of the cabin. The system is designed to maintain a comfortable and safe environment for passengers and crew, while also preventing damage to the aircraft's structure. The pressure inside the cabin is typically maintained at an altitude equivalent to 6,000-8,000 feet above sea level, even when the aircraft is flying at much higher altitudes. This is necessary to ensure that passengers and crew can breathe comfortably and to prevent the risk of hypoxia, which can occur when the body is deprived of oxygen at high altitudes.
