Prohibited Area
A Prohibited area is an airspace designated under the authority of a national government within which flight of aircraft is not allowed. Prohibited areas are established for security or other reasons associated with the national welfare. These areas are usually located over government facilities, military installations, or other areas of special national interest. Unauthorized entry into a prohibited area is a violation of the law and may result in interception by military aircraft and/or other law enforcement actions.
