Ramp Operations

Ramp Operations refer to the ground handling activities that take place on the airport ramp or apron area. These activities include aircraft marshalling, aircraft loading and unloading, fueling, catering, baggage handling, and other services required to prepare an aircraft for departure or arrival. Ramp Operations are critical to the safe and efficient operation of an airport, and require close coordination between ground handling personnel, pilots, air traffic controllers, and other airport stakeholders.
