Runway Markings

Runway markings are symbols, signs, and painted lines on the runway surface that provide information to pilots and ground personnel. These markings help pilots to identify the runway threshold, centerline, and touchdown zone, as well as to determine the length and width of the runway. The markings also indicate the location of holding positions, taxiways, and other important areas on the airfield. Runway markings are designed to be visible in all weather conditions and are maintained regularly to ensure their visibility and accuracy.
