Security Check

Security Check is a process of inspecting passengers, their carry-on and checked baggage, and cargo to ensure that no prohibited items or dangerous goods are being transported on an aircraft. The security check is conducted by trained security personnel at the airport before passengers board the aircraft. The purpose of the security check is to prevent acts of unlawful interference with civil aviation, such as hijacking, sabotage, and terrorism. The security check includes screening of passengers and their belongings using X-ray machines, metal detectors, explosive trace detection equipment, and physical pat-downs. The security check also involves verifying the identity of passengers and checking their travel documents and boarding passes.
