Security Checkpoints

Security Checkpoints are designated areas in airports where passengers and their belongings are screened for prohibited items before boarding a flight. These checkpoints are managed by Transportation security administration (TSA) in the United States and other similar agencies in different countries. The screening process includes X-ray scanning of carry-on bags, metal detector screening, and body scanning. Passengers are also required to remove their shoes, belts, and jackets during the screening process. The purpose of security checkpoints is to ensure the safety and security of passengers and crew members aboard the aircraft.
