Short Flare

Short Flare is a technique used during the landing phase of an aircraft where the pilot increases the pitch attitude of the aircraft just before touchdown, causing a momentary increase in altitude followed by a rapid reduction in descent rate. This technique is used to reduce the vertical speed of the aircraft at touchdown, resulting in a smoother landing and reduced stress on the landing gear. Short Flare is commonly used in commercial aviation and is an important part of pilot training.
