Pitch Attitude

Pitch Attitude is the angle between the longitudinal axis of an aircraft and the horizon, as seen from the side of the aircraft. It is the angle at which the aircraft's nose is pointing up or down in relation to the horizon. Pitch attitude is an important parameter in aircraft control and stability. It is controlled by the elevators, which are part of the aircraft's control surfaces. Pilots use pitch attitude to control the aircraft's altitude and airspeed during takeoff, climb, cruise, descent, and landing. Pitch attitude is also used to maintain the aircraft's angle of attack, which is the angle between the chord line of the wing and the relative wind.
