Special Needs Accommodation

Special Needs Accommodation refers to the provision of assistance and facilities to passengers with disabilities or medical conditions who require additional support during air travel. This includes wheelchair assistance, special seating arrangements, oxygen supply, and other medical equipment. Airlines are required to provide these accommodations under the Air carrier access act (ACAA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to ensure that passengers with disabilities have equal access to air travel. Special needs accommodation is an essential aspect of the aviation industry, as it enables passengers with disabilities to travel safely and comfortably.
