Stabilizer

In aviation, a stabilizer is a fixed or adjustable surface that provides stability to an aircraft, preventing unwanted movement or deviation from its intended flight path. The stabilizer is typically located at the tail of the aircraft and can be horizontal or vertical. The horizontal stabilizer provides pitch stability, while the vertical stabilizer provides yaw stability. The stabilizer can be adjusted in flight to control the aircraft's attitude and maintain stability. In some aircraft, the stabilizer is combined with the elevator to form a stabilator, which provides both stability and control.
