Stalls
In aviation, a stall is a condition in which an aircraft exceeds its critical angle of attack and experiences a loss of lift, resulting in a sudden reduction in altitude. This can occur when the aircraft is flying too slowly or at too steep of an angle, causing the airflow over the wings to become disrupted. Stalls can be dangerous and potentially lead to a crash if not handled properly. Pilots are trained to recognize the warning signs of an impending stall, such as a decrease in airspeed or an increase in the angle of attack, and to take corrective action by reducing the angle of attack and increasing airspeed. In some cases, aircraft may be equipped with stall warning systems to alert pilots of an impending stall.
