Stall
In aviation, a stall is a condition in which an aircraft's wing no longer produces lift due to an excessive angle of attack. This can occur when the aircraft is flying too slowly or when the nose is pitched up too high. When a stall occurs, the aircraft will begin to lose altitude and may enter a spin if corrective action is not taken. Pilots are trained to recognize and recover from stalls by reducing the angle of attack and increasing airspeed. Stalls can be dangerous and are a common cause of aviation accidents.
