Structural Components
Structural components refer to the load-bearing parts of an aircraft that are designed to withstand the forces of flight and maintain the structural integrity of the aircraft. These components include the fuselage, wings, empennage, and landing gear. The fuselage is the main body of the aircraft that houses the cockpit, cabin, and cargo compartments. The wings are the primary lifting surfaces of the aircraft that generate lift and provide stability and control. The empennage is the tail section of the aircraft that includes the horizontal and vertical stabilizers and the rudder. The landing gear is the undercarriage of the aircraft that supports the weight of the aircraft during takeoff, landing, and ground operations.
