Visual Flight

Visual Flight is a type of flight operation where the pilot navigates the aircraft by using external visual references, such as landmarks, roads, and bodies of water. In Visual Flight, the pilot must maintain visual contact with the ground and fly the aircraft based on what they see outside the cockpit. This type of flight is conducted in good weather conditions and requires the pilot to have a clear view of the terrain and obstacles ahead. Visual Flight is commonly used in general aviation and is an important skill for pilots to have.
