Winglet

A winglet is a small, upturned extension at the tip of an aircraft wing. It is designed to reduce the drag caused by the wingtip vortex, which is created by the difference in pressure between the upper and lower surfaces of the wing. The winglet helps to improve the aircraft's fuel efficiency and range, as well as its stability and control. Winglets can be found on a variety of aircraft, from small general aviation planes to large commercial airliners.
