ADS-B Technology
ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast) is a surveillance technology used in aviation that enables aircraft to determine their position via satellite navigation and periodically broadcast it, along with other information such as altitude and velocity, to air traffic control and other aircraft. ADS-B technology enhances situational awareness and improves safety by providing real-time information to pilots and air traffic controllers. It also allows for more efficient use of airspace and can reduce delays and fuel consumption. ADS-B is gradually being implemented worldwide as a replacement for traditional radar-based surveillance systems.
