Automatic Course Corrections

Automatic Course Corrections refer to the ability of an aircraft to make adjustments to its flight path without the need for manual intervention by the pilot. These corrections are made using advanced avionics systems that use data from various sources such as GPS, Inertial Navigation Systems (INS), and Flight Management Systems (FMS). The system continuously monitors the aircraft's position and compares it to the flight plan, making small adjustments to the heading, altitude, and speed to keep the aircraft on course. Automatic Course Corrections are an essential safety feature that helps to ensure that the aircraft stays on track and avoids potential collisions with other aircraft or obstacles.
