Biplanes

Biplanes are a type of fixed-wing aircraft with two main wings, one above the other. The wings are usually of similar size and shape, and are braced together using struts and wires. Biplanes were commonly used in the early days of aviation, before the development of monoplanes. They were known for their maneuverability and short takeoff and landing distances, making them popular for military and aerobatic use. However, biplanes fell out of favor as monoplanes became more advanced and efficient, and are now mostly used for recreational purposes and airshows.
