Conventional Landing Gear
Conventional landing gear is a type of aircraft undercarriage consisting of two main wheels forward of the center of gravity and a small wheel or skid at the tail. This configuration is also known as a tailwheel or taildragger arrangement. The main advantage of conventional landing gear is its simplicity and light weight, making it ideal for smaller aircraft. However, it can be more difficult to handle on the ground and has a tendency to ground loop in crosswinds. Conventional landing gear is commonly found on older aircraft and some modern light aircraft.
