Decoy Heat Source

A Decoy Heat Source is a device used in aviation to deceive heat-seeking missiles. It emits a thermal signature similar to that of an aircraft engine, thereby diverting the missile from the actual aircraft. The Decoy Heat Source can be launched from the aircraft or from the ground and is typically used in conjunction with other countermeasures such as chaff and flares. The device is designed to be disposable and can be used only once.
