Flaperon
A flaperon is a type of aircraft control surface that combines aspects of both flaps and ailerons. It is typically found on the wings of aircraft and is used to control the roll and pitch of the aircraft. The flaperon is hinged to the wing and can be moved up or down to increase or decrease lift, as well as to tilt the aircraft left or right. This allows the pilot to control the aircraft's altitude and bank angle during takeoff, landing, and in flight. Flaperons are commonly used on smaller aircraft, such as light sport aircraft and homebuilt planes, as well as on some military aircraft.
