JAR-OPS
Joint Aviation Requirements - Operations (JAR-OPS) is a set of regulations and standards developed by the Joint Aviation authorities (JAA) for commercial air transport operations in Europe. JAR-OPS covers a wide range of topics including flight crew licensing and training, aircraft operations, maintenance, and airworthiness. The regulations are designed to ensure a high level of safety and standardization in commercial aviation operations, and are enforced by national aviation authorities in Europe. JAR-OPS has been replaced by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulations, but some countries still use JAR-OPS as a basis for their national regulations.
