Retroreflective Materials
Retroreflective materials are materials that reflect light back to its source with minimum scattering. In aviation, retroreflective materials are used to enhance the visibility of aircraft and airport markings in low light conditions. These materials are commonly used on runway markings, taxiway markings, and airport signs. Retroreflective materials are designed to reflect light directly back to the source, making them highly visible to pilots and ground personnel.
