Leasing Arrangements

Leasing arrangements refer to the contractual agreements between an aircraft owner (lessor) and an airline or other operator (lessee) for the use of an aircraft. These agreements can vary in duration, cost, and terms, but generally involve the lessor providing the aircraft to the lessee for a specified period of time in exchange for regular payments. Leasing arrangements can be beneficial for airlines as they provide access to aircraft without the large upfront costs of purchasing, and can also allow for flexibility in fleet management. There are several types of leasing arrangements, including wet leasing (providing the aircraft and crew), dry leasing (providing only the aircraft), and damp leasing (a combination of the two).
