Turboprops
Turboprops are a type of aircraft that use a gas turbine engine to drive a propeller. The engine is connected to a gearbox which turns the propeller. They are also quieter and have lower emissions compared to jet engines. Turboprops have a shorter takeoff and landing distance, allowing them to operate from smaller airports with shorter runways. They are commonly used for cargo and passenger transportation, as well as for military and surveillance purposes.
