Wingtip Lights

Wingtip lights are aviation navigation lights located at the tip of each wing of an aircraft. These lights are used to increase the visibility of the aircraft to other pilots and ground personnel during low light conditions or night flights. Wingtip lights are typically red on the left wing and green on the right wing, and they are required by aviation regulations to be illuminated during all phases of flight. In addition to increasing visibility, wingtip lights also help pilots determine the orientation of other aircraft in the vicinity, which is important for collision avoidance.
