Aerodynamic Stall

An aerodynamic stall is a condition in which an aircraft's wing exceeds its critical angle of attack, resulting in a loss of lift and an increase in drag. This can occur when the aircraft is flying too slowly or at too steep of an angle of attack. When an aerodynamic stall occurs, the aircraft may experience a sudden drop in altitude and a loss of control. Pilots are trained to recognize and recover from an aerodynamic stall by reducing the angle of attack and increasing airspeed. This is typically done by lowering the aircraft's nose and adding power.
