Artificial Horizon

Artificial Horizon, also known as attitude indicator, is an instrument used in aircraft to inform the pilot about the orientation of the aircraft relative to the horizon. It provides the pilot with pitch and roll information, allowing them to maintain a level flight and make necessary adjustments. The instrument consists of a gyroscopic system that remains fixed in space, while the aircraft moves around it. The gyroscopic system is powered by a vacuum or electrically driven system. The artificial horizon is an essential instrument for instrument flight and is used in conjunction with other instruments to navigate through low visibility conditions.
