Taxi Lights

Taxi lights are the lights on an aircraft that are used to provide illumination of the taxiway and ramp area during taxiing. These lights are typically located on the nose gear strut, the wingtips, and/or the empennage of the aircraft. The purpose of taxi lights is to improve visibility for the pilots during taxiing, especially in low-light conditions or at night. They also help to make the aircraft more visible to ground personnel and other aircraft in the vicinity. In some cases, the taxi lights may be used in conjunction with the landing lights during takeoff and landing to provide additional illumination.
