Pitch Axis
Pitch Axis is an imaginary line that runs horizontally from wingtip to wingtip through the center of gravity of an aircraft. It is one of the three primary axes of an aircraft, the other two being the roll axis and the yaw axis. The pitch axis is responsible for the up and down movement of the aircraft's nose. When the pilot pulls back on the control column, the aircraft's nose will pitch up, and when the pilot pushes forward on the control column, the aircraft's nose will pitch down. The pitch axis is crucial for controlling the aircraft's altitude and maintaining a stable flight.
