En-route Controller

An En-route Controller is an air traffic controller who is responsible for managing the flow of air traffic in a particular airspace sector, typically at cruising altitudes between airports. En-route controllers ensure that aircraft are safely separated from each other and that they follow their planned routes and altitudes. They use radar and other equipment to monitor the position and speed of aircraft, and communicate with pilots to provide instructions and updates. En-route controllers must be able to make quick decisions and react to changing situations, such as weather conditions or unexpected events. They work in air traffic control centers and are an essential part of the air traffic control system.
