Aircraft Control Surfaces

Aircraft control surfaces are movable parts of an aircraft that are used to control its attitude and direction of flight. These surfaces include ailerons, elevators, rudder, flaps, and spoilers. Ailerons are located on the trailing edge of the wing and are used to control the roll of the aircraft. Elevators are located on the horizontal stabilizer and are used to control the pitch of the aircraft. The rudder is located on the vertical stabilizer and is used to control the yaw of the aircraft. Flaps are located on the trailing edge of the wing and are used to increase lift and drag during takeoff and landing. Spoilers are located on the upper surface of the wing and are used to reduce lift and increase drag, which helps to slow down the aircraft.
